A beautifully proportioned petite oak chest of drawers, full of quiet country character and particularly well suited to smaller rooms and cottage interiors.

The three drawers sit above delicately turned front legs, with attractive period-style drop handles and wonderfully varied grain running across the drawer fronts and top. Its narrower proportions give it a much lighter feel than a traditional full-size chest, while still providing useful everyday storage.

The oak has a lovely timeworn appearance, with the natural variations, marks and patina that give an older piece its individual character. It would sit beautifully beside a bed, in a cottage hallway, dressing room or anywhere a smaller piece of furniture is needed without compromising on charm.

There are two small filled holes on the top of the piece where there has previously been an upstand and mirror fitted.
