A handsome oak blanket box with a solid oak frame and beautifully figured oak veneered panels, full of warmth and traditional country-house character.

The front features two large inset panels framed with moulded oak, complemented by a matching two-panelled hinged top and attractive turned bun feet. The oak has a lovely warm, aged colour, with natural grain and subtle variations in tone throughout.

The top displays some visible darker marks and areas of discolouration from previous use, adding to the timeworn appearance of the piece. The panelled construction gives it a pleasingly traditional feel, while its simple lines make it equally suited to more contemporary interiors.

Offering useful internal storage, it would be ideal for keeping blankets, bedding, cushions or other household items neatly tucked away. A lovely piece for the end of a bed, a hallway or a relaxed country sitting room.

The piece has a solid frame with thinner oak veneered panels throughout. Please note that due to its construction, it is intended for storage and decorative use only and is not suitable for use as seating.

In vintage condition, with age-related marks, knocks, surface wear and some darker staining to the top, as shown in the photographs.

Please note: The wood is in its raw, unfinished state, with no varnish or protective finish applied.
