This solid oak coffee table is made in the Titchmarsh & Goodwin style and dates to the late 20th century, drawing on traditional English country furniture forms with robust construction and timeless proportions.
 
The table features a thick rectangular oak top supported on turned legs, united by a stretcher base that provides excellent strength and stability. The clean, unfussy design allows the quality of the oak and its grain to take centre stage, making it a versatile piece suited to both classic and relaxed interiors.
 
The table has been carefully sanded back and revarnished , revealing the natural colour and grain of the oak. It presents a lighter, refreshed finish while retaining its traditional country-house character.
