This attractive vintage oak sideboard is a well-proportioned and practical piece of early 20th century furniture, combining generous storage with a restrained, traditional design. The piece features two drawers above a pair of cupboard doors, all raised on turned front supports and united by a stretcher base.
 
The sideboard has been carefully stripped and sympathetically restored, revealing the natural warmth and grain of the oak and presenting in a lighter, refined finish that brings a fresh country-house feel to the piece. The piece consists of a solid oak frame and drawer fronts, with oak veneer panels and top. 
The original brass handles and escutcheons have been retained, including original and working key and locks, complementing the period character and understated detailing.
