A traditional antique country oak washstand, designed with a solid oak frame, twin cupboard doors and raised on its original castors. The simple, well-balanced proportions reflect the practical style of country furniture from the early 20th century, likely Edwardian in period.
 
The frame is constructed from solid oak, while the top, sides and door panels are finished in well-matched oak veneer, a common cabinetmaking technique of the time used to showcase attractive grain patterns across larger surfaces. The washstand has been stripped back and the top revarnished but retains its original handles and hardware, adding further authenticity and character to the piece.
