This late Victorian to early Edwardian oak sideboard features classic proportions with decorative barley twist front legs, a detail popular at the turn of the 20th century. Raised on turned legs with a stretcher base, the piece combines practical storage with refined period styling.
The upper section comprises two drawers fitted with original brass knobs, above a pair of panelled cupboard doors. The rear legs are plain and square, as typical of furniture from this period, reinforcing its authentic construction.
Carefully stripped and sanded to reveal the natural warmth and grain of the oak, the sideboard retains subtle signs of age that enhance its character and originality.
A versatile piece, well suited to a dining room, hallway, or country cottage interior.
