This Edwardian oak sideboard dates to the early 20th century and displays the clean proportions and restrained detailing typical of the period. The layout comprises two full-width drawers above a pair of panelled cupboard doors, offering practical storage within a compact, well-balanced form.
 
Crafted from solid oak, the piece stands on square tapering legs with a gently shaped apron and with brass ring pull and drop handles enhancing its period character. A subtle shaped back rail provides a modest decorative flourish without overpowering the design.
 
The sideboard has been carefully stripped and sympathetically restored, revealing the natural grain and warm tone of the oak. The raw wood finish leaves an understated surface, it now presents with a lighter, refined country-house appearance while retaining its Edwardian integrity.
 
A solid and well-made piece, restored and ready for use, suitable for a kitchen, dining room, or hallway within a period or countryside interior. Please note the right hand side cupboard door does shut but is not entirely flush.
