This early 20th Century solid oak chest of drawers is a well-proportioned and practical piece. The arrangement of two short drawers over three full-width drawers provides generous storage while maintaining balanced, elegant proportions.
Crafted from solid oak, the piece has been stripped and finished to highlight the natural grain and warm tone of the timber. It is fitted with simple metal drop handles, complementing its understated country-house character. The gently shaped apron and slightly splayed feet add subtle refinement.
In very good condition, showing little sign of wear, with a clean surface and well-preserved finish. This piece has had new antique brass droplet handles added to enhance its characterful look. A solid, heavy piece that presents exceptionally well.
